acupuncture - College Park Medical Clinic

The Chinese believe that energy flows through our systems along defined pathways called meridians.

When meridians are open energy flows freely and we are healthy.

Blocked meridians stop the energy flow and are unhealthy.

There are three components of acupuncture therapy

  • Acupuncture Itself
  • Medicinal Herbs
  • TUI NA therapy

Acupuncture, the insertion of fine needles into the meridian points, can unlock the flow of energy with benefits to the immune system, hormone levels, blood pressure, heart rate, and brain activity, effectively re-programming or re-balancing the system.

Chinese medicinal herbs work with acupuncture as essential components providing fortification, prevention, and maintenance for many chronic conditions.

TUI NA therapy uses acupressure, stretching, and gentle manipulation to restore balance to help re-align a person's physical and spiritual harmony.

Acupuncture can be beneficial for:

  • Acute & Chronic Pain/Arthritis
  • Back & Neck Pain
  • Headache/Insomnia/Dizziness
  • Anxiety/Depression/Stress
  • Sinusitis/Skin Problems
  • Asthma/Allergies/Bronchitis
  • Gynecological Disorders/Infertility
